WaveWatch analyzes TikTok content to discover performance patterns and generate new post ideas. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices. The “site administrator” is the person who hosts this instance of WaveWatch.
Information We Collect
- Account data you provide (username, login).
- TikTok video metadata and cover images fetched via the TikTok Open API for the authenticated user.
- OCR text extracted from cover images to analyze on-screen text.
- AI suggestions and insights derived from your data.
How We Use Information
- Provide analytics dashboards and insights.
- Generate AI-based content suggestions.
- Maintain and improve the service.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers (e.g., AI and OCR services) to operate the app, subject to appropriate safeguards. We are not affiliated with TikTok.
Data Retention
We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You may request deletion by contacting the administrator.
Security
We implement reasonable safeguards to protect information; however, no method is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
You can disconnect the TikTok integration by removing your token from configuration and request deletion of stored data from the site administrator.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use signifies acceptance of the updated policy.
